Privacy Policy
God: My World v0.1.0 · Last updated 3 October 2026
The short version. God: My World has no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising, no cookies and no game servers of ours. It does not ask for your personal information, and your world is never sent to us: it is kept in your own browser, so that it is there on your next visit. Visits to the game are counted, anonymously and without cookies (see Visit statistics); nothing measures how you play. Apart from that count, the game makes no network requests except to load its own files from the site that serves it.
Playing in a headset? Your hands, your controllers and, in AR, your room are handled by the headset itself, not by the game — see In a headset.
Who we are
God: My World is a god game: a living world of peoples and animals on a sand table, which you guide with god powers. It is played in a desktop or phone browser, and in VR or AR on a Meta Quest headset through WebXR. It is made and published by BRUNA GOODS LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what happens to information when you play the game, and it applies to the game and to these pages.
Questions, requests or complaints about privacy: support@bruna.world.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, age, location or payment details, and the game has no way to send any of them to us. In particular, God: My World does not:
- create an account or a player profile of any kind;
- send your world, or anything you do in it, to us or to anyone else. A world leaves your device only in a link you choose to share yourself (see Sharing a world). Four kinds of things are written to your browser, all of them under What stays on your device: your world, the worlds you save and the previous world, one on/off choice, and the kind of world your next new world starts as;
- set cookies;
- show advertising, or sell or share anything about you with anyone;
- measure how you play. Visits to the game are counted, but only as anonymous totals, without cookies (see Visit statistics);
- connect you to anyone else: there is no multiplayer and no networking;
- use your microphone or camera, or receive images of your room.
Apart from loading its own files from the site that serves it, and the anonymous count of a visit that it sends there, the game makes no network requests at all.
What stays on your device
Your world. So that your world is still there when you come back,
your browser keeps it — its peoples, its herds, its land, the year and its
chronicle — in its local storage, under the name
god-my-world.save.v1. It is never sent anywhere.
Saved worlds and the previous world. Under Settings,
Saved Worlds keeps up to three worlds you save, under the names
god-my-world.save.v1.slot1 to slot3. When you load a
world, begin a new one or play one shared with you, the world you had is set aside
rather than deleted, under the name god-my-world.save.v1.previous, and
can be played again from there; only the latest world set aside is kept. None of
them is ever sent anywhere.
One choice. In VR, you can choose to release your powers by pointing
and clicking instead of with hand gestures. Your browser remembers that single on/off
choice in its local storage, under the name god-my-world.pointing. It is
never sent anywhere.
How your next world starts. Your browser remembers which kind of
world the next new world starts as, in its local storage, under the name
god-my-world.scenario. It is never sent anywhere.
All of them stay in your browser and belong to it, not to us: we cannot read them, and clearing this site's data in your browser's settings removes them — and, with the first two, your worlds themselves. We keep no copy of your world anywhere, so a world cleared this way cannot be brought back.
Sharing a world
Share This World, under Saved Worlds, makes a link to this game with your
world written into it: its peoples, its herds, its land and the year — not its
chronicle or its milestones, and nothing about you. The link is made in your browser, which copies it or hands it
to your device's share sheet; where it goes from there is up to you. The world is in
the part of the address after #, which browsers do not send to the
site that serves the game, so it does not reach us when anyone opens the link.
Opening a shared link shows that world behind the landing card. Nothing is written to your browser until you play it; Play my own world instead goes back to yours untouched.
Visit statistics
So that we know how many people come to the game and from where, its visits are
counted with Vercel Web Analytics, a service of Vercel Inc., which hosts the game.
When the game opens, your browser tells Vercel the address of the page — without the
part after #, so never a world shared with you — the page that linked
to it, and the time. From that request Vercel works out the country, region and
city, the kind of device (desktop, phone or tablet), and the browser and operating
system with their versions.
No cookie is set, and nothing for the count is written to your browser. Visitors are told apart by a code made from the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours; the count is not tied to your IP address or to you, and it does not follow you to other sites. We see only totals: so many visits, from these countries, on these devices. Nothing you do in the game is counted. A content blocker that stops the count leaves the game as it is.
In a headset
In a headset, hand and controller tracking is performed by the headset and the browser. The game receives positions and orientations through the standard WebXR interface and uses them to draw your hands in the scene and to read your gestures; nothing about your surroundings, your body or your play space leaves the device.
In AR mode, the headset shows you your own room through passthrough, with the game drawn into it. The headset puts that picture together itself: the game never receives camera images, or anything else about your room. God: My World does not use your microphone or camera, in a headset or anywhere else.
Hosting
Wherever these pages are served from, the hosting provider may keep standard web server logs — IP address, time, the file requested, browser version — for security and operational reasons. Those logs are created by the host, are not used by us to identify anyone, and are subject to the host's own retention policy.
Children
God: My World is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — of any age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to support@bruna.world and we will delete whatever we have. Meta Quest and other headsets carry their own manufacturer age requirements; please follow them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or similar laws to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to its processing. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is in practice nothing to access, correct, delete or port — but you are welcome to write to support@bruna.world and ask, and we will answer. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not have any.
If you correspond with us, we will hold that correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with it, and no longer than we need to.
Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that changes this policy — a leaderboard, an account, a purchase — we will update this page and the date at the top of it before that change ships.
